Ever since people read my post yesterday about zombies, the universe has been trying to remind me that I hate zombies. Various examples!

Friends: have been teasing me about my dream. Two off the top of my head have IM'd me with the following message: "BRAAAAAAAIIIINNNNSSSS!", much to my chagrin.

Random TV spots: Yesterday, in the episode of Remote, the main character asked if there would be zombies in the room that she was about to enter.

The big one that annoys me the most, though? Comic books. Here is the story--
In Marvel comics, there are two events that have been big things: Civil War, and Marvel Zombies. Civil War is something that pretty much everyone hates, and Marvel Zombies was, for a while, something that everyone (but me) loved. It took place in an alternate universe where everyone was stricken by the zombie virus...thing...whatever (I never followed it, 'cuz I hate zombies). However, something happened recently that pissed a lot of people off--the zombies ate Galactus. Galactus is a transdimensional energy being...thing. And yet, how he managed to get eaten by zombies is another mystery altogether, as he IS an energy being.

And now, you have super-powered energy transdimensional zombies running around the universe, and they entered the Civil War line.

*twitch*

for a long, long time, I have hated people using zombies in comic books because to me, it was a sign that the writers/authors had run out of ideas, and in a move of desperation, used zombies. I know I'm not the only person out there who has that opinion.

GRR. *hates zombies*

Last night, I had a dream that involved a mutant who called himself War. He was evil (yup), and he could steal other people's powers by just touching them. He was more like Sylar than Rogue, though, because he kept the powers, and permanently deprived the people of their powers (although there is that one exception of Carol Danvers...blah blah blah). The thing is, War wasn't satisfied with just touching people to take their powers. He had to bite them to do it. His appearance changed throughout the dream, at first taking on the appearance of a small wiry boy with long blonde hair, and eventually turning into a crazy dude who kind of looked like Sepiroth and Allen Schezar. I was the only one who knew how his powers worked in the dream, and I wrapped myself in tons of wrappings to avoid being bitten by War. He tried to bite someone from my Japanese class, but I just put my hand on top of his head and slammed his head to the ground (this was when he was still in small wiry boy mode...who, when I think about it, was like a male WASP version of the girl in the Ring. Bizzarre.)
